We’ve recently interviewed both of the Mount Kilimanjaro duo and found out more about their fundraising efforts, their training and what they like to do in their spare time.
Well, we’ve more information about how you can help them to reach their target for their two chosen charities, Marie Curie Cancer Care and the National Autistic Society.
Ian and Jordan have come up with a very novel way of raising money for their respective charities, especially if you are interested in football.
The boys have set up a Fantasy Premier League in which anyone can join. With an entry fee of £20, half of which will be split between the Marie Curie and National Autistic charities, with the remainder going into a prize fund, you can be sure there’ll be plenty of interest.
With the new season fast approaching you’ll have to be quick though.
If you’d like to play along and put your managerial skills to the test with a chance to win a big cash prize then why not go to fantasy.premierleague.com.
Once you’ve put your ‘winning’ team together simply go onto the “Join a League” tab and select “Private League”. Enter the following code for the Kilimanjaro Challenge 2 league – 110226-33052. It’s as simple as that.
Jordan will be putting the bank details on the forum part of the league page for you to pay your £20 entry / prize / charity donation so keep an eye out.
If you are going to enter this exciting league then please hurry! The new season starts on Saturday 16th August and all of the money needs to be paid in by 31st August 2014.
Don’t forget, if you have any friends or family who have a team or wish to enter, get them to sign up today and donate to a good cause. If you want to donate without having to sign up to the Fantasy Football leagues, you can do so on their Just Giving pages – www.justgiving.com/I-Pilkington1 & www.justgiving.com/jordan-snape
Good luck and remember, the more teams in the league the bigger the prize and the bigger the donation to charity. We know we’re in!!!
